The National Science and Media Museum is hosting A Grand Day Out, a special partnership with Aardman, to celebrate reopening.
The National Science and Media Museum is hosting a special event in celebration of their reopening from 8 January 2025. On Saturday 11 January, visitors are invited to the museum for A Grand Day Out, a very special partnership with Aardman Studios.
The day will feature screenings of Aardman films, model making workshops and more. The museum’s team of Explainers will also be delivering free family-friendly activities with live science shows and object handling.
The reopening of the museum sees the return of visitor favourites such as interactive gallery Wonderlab and the Kodak photography gallery, as well as a brand-new foyer space, redesigned shop and Media Café, and an additional passenger lift.
