Discover Norton Priory's wildlife out-of-hours with a walk to enjoy the dawn chorus and a chance to meet some nocturnal visitors.
Join us for an expert-led walk to appreciate the dawn chorus with Tony Parker, followed by the opening of humane moth and small mammal traps that will have been set the night before. Any critters we find will be recorded and released safely. Hopefully, we'll have the chance to observe wildlife that visitors wouldn't normally see!
This will be part of the City Nature Challenge weekend, when cities around the world collaborate to share observations of nature. Recording wildlife helps us learn about local and global biodiversity, and can be vital for understanding our changing environment.
