Join the Florence Nightingale Museum for a special walking tour in celebration of International Nurses Day!
Commemorate the 205th birthday of Florence Nightingale by walking in her footsteps and visiting London as she knew it! See where the ‘mother of nursing’ lived and worked. From the house where she spent the last days of her long life, the hotel where she wrote her famous Notes on Nursing, to the statue of the Lady with the Lamp. Learn about her background, her influential neighbours and her love life, as we walk through the delightful districts of Mayfair and St James’s on this special day.
This walk lasts approximately 2 hours, and will be conducted at a reasonable walking pace so please wear appropriate footwear.
Tickets are £16 per person and there are 20 tickets available per tour. (Tickets for both the tour and museum entry on this date are £21)
This tour is led by professional tour guides.
Start: 11.00am outside the BMW showroom (W1K 7TT) on the corner of Park Lane and South Street (nearest tube stations are Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner)
