Your little ones can learn a new skill in this weaving workshop!

Using colourful wools and threads on a circle loom they'll make a small bunch of flowers or a larger hanging flower, guided by artists Lucy Sugden.

With a large selection of materials such as ribbons, beads, fabric petals and mini beasts to choose from, every weaving will be fantastically individual and creative!

Aimed at children aged 4+ and an accompanying adult. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

This workshop will be run by artist Lucy Sugden who specialises in tapestry and woven art. Come to see the newly opened North Hertfordshire Museum. We have four galleries for you to visit: explore the Discovering North Hertfordshire Gallery, which deals with the history of the district from geological times to the present day; our Exhibition Gallery has regularly changing exhibits; discover how people’s lives have changed over thousands of years in the Living in North Hertfordshire Gallery; see the football collection, objects from all around the world, items from our art collections and animations of local folklore tales in the Terrace Gallery; view artworks in the Arches Gallery, part of the Terrace Gallery. We have a shop where you can buy gifts and local souvenirs, and a cafe serving a variety of food, and hot and cold drinks. Admission is free.
