This exhibition tells the story of local artist K. Koria and his drive to pursue a career in the arts.
This exhibition tells the story of local artist K. Koria and his drive to pursue a career in the arts. It explores his life from his early beginnings in India, to how he came to establish himself as the UK's first Indian graphic artist.
This exhibition includes many of his commercial works and contemporary paintings. Inspired by the rich culture of colourful India, these poetically capture moments in everyday village life from a time gone by. Through the expert use of colour, and with bold composition, his works preserve and celebrate the essence of India as he remembers it.
K. Koria continues to make a significant impact on British Asian culture, with his works reaching across continents.
