Enjoy a festive family caper like no other as hundreds of mice once again descend on Fairfax House.

Don’t miss York’s most charming Christmas event!

It is Christmas morning and the family have awoken to discover the famous Fairfax Ruby has been stolen by the dastardly Highway Mouse, but he did not act alone. Visitors will need to play detective to recover this precious jewel and discover who helped commit the crime.

Throughout the house you’ll meet a host of mousey suspects who may have had a hand in the robbery. Each possible accomplice has a dubious alibi which will need to be examined closely to catch the inside mouse!

Explore each room where you’ll find over 400 charming whiskered guests causing chaos – swinging from the ceilings, bursting out of drawers, even sneaking a swig of the Viscount’s best Port!

Plus, an extra Christmas gift – admission is free for 16 and unders.

Advance booking recommended. Walk-ins welcome.

Tickets to A Christmas Moustery are £9.50 for adults and concessions are £8. Under 16s visit free with a paying adult. You will receive a free annual return ticket with every adult ticket.

Annual return tickets are valid for A Christmas Moustery.

A Christmas Moustery is open from 9 November to 5 January, Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm. Closed 24, 25, 26 and 31 December and 1 January.
