Looking at the struggles of addiction with humanity.
Heroin Falls highlights the realities of heroin addiction through the juxtaposition of two different worlds through the eyes of two incredible photographers.
Magnum photographer Lindokuhle Sobekwa (b.1995) documented a group of young men from a South African township who used nyaope, a low-grade form of heroin, and captured their daily activities to touch on themes of redemption and rehab. While Scottish-born Graham MacIndoe photographed himself during the years he was addicted to heroin, showcasing his own self-destructive behaviour with raw honesty.
