An immersive video installation by a contemporary artist capturing the shared experiences of Caribbean communities
Experience Rhea Storr's immersive video installation that offers a close-up portrait of Caribbean communities in the UK and their shared experiences, from moments of joy and celebration to struggles and oppression.
Storr is particularly interested in how Black and mixed-race people are represented in culture and uses unconventional filmmaking techniques such as 16mm film to explore this. She's particularly interested in how her subjects are represented in rural spaces and the community's history of masquerade.
