60 works of art capture the seven-decade career of an extraordinary avant-garde Modernist.
Spanning painting, collage, sculpture, textiles and photography, Paule Vézelay’s seven-decade career placed her at the heart of European modernism. This exhibition showcases over 60 works from public and private collections, positioning her alongside avant-garde peers such as Alexander Calder, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Jean Arp, Marlow Moss, Wassily Kandinsky and André Masson.
Living Lines brings the first major exhibition of Vézelay’s work in over 40 years to Towner, following its 2025 debut at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.
