Transport yourself back in time and explore a diverse collection of vehicles that have shaped the Hull's development. From horse-drawn carriages to vintage cars, the museum provides a fascinating experience for both motor enthusiasts and visitors interested in the city’s industrial history.
Vintage vehicles
Spread over six galleries, the museum showcases a wide range of historic vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, trams, and bicycles. Highlights include rare cars dating back to the 1897 motor show and a Boneshaker bicycle, and a single-deck passenger bus from the 1950s.
Interactive exhibits
Engage with interactive displays that bring the past to life. Step into a recreated 1940s street scene, complete with shops, signage, and authentic atmosphere, or take a nostalgic ride on a vintage tram.
Exhibitions and activities
The Open space on the ground floor a wide range of temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year, as well as community activities and workshops.
