Housed in the old Hull Dock Company offices, Hull Maritime Museum includes outstanding displays on whaling and deep-sea fishing and marine paintings.
There are works by artists such as John Ward and Henry Redmore, decorative art (especially scrimshaw, the folk art of the whaler), superb ship models, figureheads, a full-size whale skeleton, and displays on docking and navigation.
