
This drawing is part of a collection of 50 pencil drawings, mostly of scenes in Wales which were distributed to the National Museum Wales; the British Museum; Reading Art Gallery and the Royal Cornwall Museum. Henry Gastineau was a member of the Old Water Colour Society. He made many drawings for topographical publications and excelled in depicting wild and romantic scenery.
