Two of the four sofas designed for the drawing room at Kedleston Hall Derbyshire for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Lord Scarsdale. At either end a triton and sea nymph entwine their tails with a dolphin, in the centre of the back a medallion has a profile head of Juno. The upholstery of blue damask is a modern copy of the original.
