Art Funded by you

Stones and Bones

John Piper, 1978

© The Piper Estate

A complete folio of 27 unbound screen prints relating to a wide range of techniques. Piper has used a variety of sources for the prints including drawing, collage, photographs and sketchbooks. Some images include notes referring to texts that inspired him. Others indicate his love of and desire to record Romanesque architecture, particularly using photography. Others are rare examples of his experiments with figurative images, probably based on his wife Myfanwy.
