Perth Museum and Art Gallery holds one of the oldest public collections in the UK.
Regular temporary exhibitions at the venue include Scottish landscapes, figurative paintings, photography, sculpture and contemporary art.
Permanent collection
The museum's venerable collection includes Old Masters reflecting the taste of the local Perthshire aristocracy. There is also an impressive body of Scottish art from the 19th century to the present day by well-known Scottish masters such as Henry Raeburn, Robert Scott Lauder, William McTaggart and Sir D.Y. Cameron.
