Fused Glass Landscapes

Sat 2 Nov | 10am – 1pm | £50.00

Create your own hanging glass landscape under the guidance of fused glass artist Sarah Walsh. In this beginner’s class you will learn the basics of creating a glass panel, including glass cutting and using colourful frits. Each participant will make a 20cm x 10cm piece with hooks, which will then be fired and strung to create a colourful and unique artwork.

Sarah will demonstrate the tools used for glass cutting and how to work safely and confidently with glass. Each participant will create their own unique landscape and you may wish to bring some images for inspiration.

All tools and safety equipment will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing and flat, closed-toe shoes. Finished works will be taken back to Sarah’s studio for firing before being returned to the venue for collection at a later date.

Max No: 8 | Suitable for 16+ | Tutor: Sarah Walsh
