A day of talks to celebrate Sheila Fell: Cumberland on Canvas, the first major retrospective of the artist's work in 30 years

Join us on Saturday 18 January for a full day of talks celebrating our current exhibition, Sheila Fell: Cumberland on Canvas.

Our speakers will be:

  • Eleanor and Andrew Bradley – exhibition curators and authors of the upcoming catalogue raisonné

  • Ysanne Holt – Professor in Art History at the University of Northumbria

  • Sophie McAloone from Fine Art Restoration in Carlisle who will speak with Steve Swallow from Castlegate House Gallery

The event runs from 10.30am-3.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £30 and include:

  • Attendance at all talks, taking place in our Lecture Theatre

  • Lunch in our Function Room

  • Admission to the exhibition
