An Introduction to hand-rolled beeswax candle-making

An Introduction to hand-rolled beeswax candle-making

In February join Island-based chandler Kathy ChilliWinter at Brading Roman Villa, and discover how Beeswax has been used in candle-making over the centuries. With guidance, this relaxing session will introduce you to hand-rolled natural beeswax candle making.

You will make a bundle of 6 candles to take home with you, decorating these using hessian, raffia, and beautiful dried flower stems, sourced locally from Artisan florists Blossom and Twigs.

Time : Morning session: 11.00 a.m. – 12.00 noon

Cost: £24 per person

Please wear comfortable ‘old’ clothes and shoes, and avoid trailing sleeves, scarves, and hair. This is an accessible and inclusive activity, and no previous experience is necessary.
