Uncover the art of making inks using foraged materials.
Join artist Geraldine Walkington for a demonstration on how to make inks with foraged materials like acorns and berries. Gain inspiration during the relaxing tour of the Ecology Gallery. Get creative with a guided drawing session in the cafe in the Creative Space led by Geraldine Walkington using her homemade natural inks.
This event is part of a recurring series taking place on the third Saturday of each month between January and March. At each workshop, attendees will be taught a new skill or technique that contributes to a sustainable lifestyle.
No experience needed. All materials will be provided at the workshop. This workshop is included with gallery admission. We kindly ask that you reserve your place for this session here.
Important Note: While we’ll be learning about natural inks, we won’t be making them during the session, but you will be given some recipes to try at home.
