Join the FNM during half-term to dive into Victorian times and learn with hands on activities!
The Victorian Era was a time of great change.
While Florence Nightingale was making great changes in healthcare, other great thinkers, campaigners and inventors were making great changes elsewhere!
Join us this February Half Term as we explore some of the modern wonders we need to thank the Victorians for!
Follow our inventors trail to learn about some marvellous inventions and have a go at some hands on Victorian activities:
Learn how to answer the telephone the way the Victorian’s intended
Make your own Thaumatrope to take home- an early example of animation
Look deep into the River Thames before we had a sewage system
Take a very Victorian family photograph
Try out the Penny Post and post your own invention idea in our lovely green post box
All activities are subject to availability and free with museum admission.
