Join renowned food artist Prudence Staite, for an exclusive workshop to hand make and decorate a chocolate plate.
Using techniques inspired to those that the porcelain workers would have used to mould Royal Worcester plates (slipcasting), during the morning you will hand mould a plate from chocolate.
After lunch you will learn techniques for hand painting your plate. You could take inspiration from our museum collections, or let your imagination run wild. Prudence will be on hand to demonstrate how to use the cocoa butters, and range of beautiful colours, to achieve your vision!
Your workshop will include a light lunch and numbers are limited to 10 participants to allow a high level of guidance and support from Prudence.
This workshops is suitable for 14 years+. 14-17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.
