Join us on a visit to Bentley Priory and discover the pivotal role it played in the Battle of Britain
On the site of a 12th century monastery, this former royal residence became Fighter Command HQ in 1936, and it was from here that the major air battle dubbed the Battle of Britain was planned.
The coach will leave Chertsey Museum promptly at 9.15am, and will leave Stanmore at 3.30pm. The group will be split into two for a guided tour of the development of the historic building.
Please bring a packed lunch with you although there are facilities on site to purchase drinks.
NB refunds will be issued if we can not fill the coach but refunds will not be given otherwise unless the place can be filled
