Middleport Pottery is an award-winning visitor destination and Victorian Pottery Factory in Stoke-on-Trent.
Middleport Pottery’s Factory Tour offers a unique opportunity to see traditional handcraft methods unchanged since the 1880s. The Heritage Trail guides visitors through the original Victorian Office, design showroom, workers’ underground Bath House and atmospheric Grade II listed Bottle Kiln.
The canal side Tea Room serves a wide range of locally-sourced food and afternoon teas. For pottery lovers, the Burleigh Factory Shop stock the widest selection of Burleigh pottery in the world and Clay College hosts regular exhibitions featuring the work of world-renowned ceramicists. There are also six open-door workshops, Middleport Studios, featuring Staffordshire’s most talented artists who create and sell at Middleport Pottery.

Refurbishments
In Summer 2022 we opened our regeneration of Harper Street, adjacent to Middleport Pottery. Visitors taking our Heritage Trail can experience The Lodgekeepers House and an audio-visual exhibition depicting life in Harper Street and the potteries from living memories of the 1950s.
