In this first workshop children will be guided in creating their own imaginary planet. Ida will give a short introduction about space, planets and the Solar System following which she will show some of her most recent space themed artwork.
Then the crafting begins! Children will be encouraged to pick a colour and a name for their planet. While the paint is drying they'll make 3D decorations, little ‘aliens’ and any other items they would like to add on top. Once finished they will have a 3D artwork which they can exhibit at home or hang on the wall.
This sessions runs from 10.30am for approximately 90 minutes. Places are limited. Tickets are £12.50 per child, including refreshments.
All children should be accompanied by an adult.
