Ida Ramic, Illustrator and Graphic Designer, brings us this series of creative art workshops for children.
In this third and final workshop of the series, children will be guided in creating an underwater scene using an etching technique.
Ida will start with a short introduction about the technique and show some of her most recent artwork.
Then crafting begins. Children will be provided with materials and guided along every step to create the artwork. First they will fill the whole paper with patches of colour using crayons and then paint over the whole paper with black acrylic paint. While waiting for the paint to dry Ida will chat about different sea creatures that they could include in their artwork. Once finished the children will have a colourful artwork which they can take with them and exhibit at home.
This sessions runs from 10.30am for approximately 90 minutes. Places are limited. Tickets are £12.50 per child, including refreshments.
All children should be accompanied by an adult.
