Ida Ramic, Illustrator and Graphic Designer, brings us this series of creative art workshops for children.
In this second workshop children will be shown how to use coloured paper to make 3D ornaments. They will focus on creating a vibrant summer scene on a large ‘leaf’ where insects come to admire, eat, and pollinate flowers.
There will be a short introduction about the technique and the theme following which Ida will show some her recent relevant creations.
Then crafting begins! Children will be provided with materials and guided along every step to create the artwork. Starting off with a cardboard base which will be cut into a leaf shape, they will add some colour to their ‘leaf’ by tearing off pieces of green paper and gluing them down. Then, guided by Ida, they will make different flowers and insects to go on top.
This sessions runs from 10.30am for approximately 90 minutes. Places are limited. Tickets are £12.50 per child, including refreshments.
All children should be accompanied by an adult.
