October Half Term Top Tip Trail and Tortoise Craft
Did you know Florence Nightingale loved animals? She realised how important they could be for health and wellbeing and even let the soldiers at Scutari Hospital keep their very own ward pet- a very special tortoise called Jimmy!
Join Jimmy the tortoise this October half term with his Guide to Scutari Hospital, follow his top tip trail to learn how to look after soldiers, keep a hospital clean and put a smile on patients faces. You can even make your own Jimmy the tortoise to take home with you.
This event runs from Saturday 26th October until Sunday 3rd November and is included with admission.
The Florence Nightingale’s new exhibition ‘Caring Companions’ will be running until Summer 2025.
Remember all admission tickets purchased through the museum are annual so keep an eye on our What’s On page for other events!
