Then, heading towards the undulating Hammer woodlands, there is the opportunity to explore the surprising rise and fall of the industrial history of this area.

Opening times
Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Winter closing time 4.30pm (mid October-mid February). The Museum is closed between Christmas and New Year.
Exclusions and safety measures
The beehive observation hut is closed during the winter. No dogs are allowed in the Museum or grounds, except for assistance dogs.
