Local tree warden Clive Davidson invites you to visit trees that pre-date the dinosaurs, that grow as tall as Big Ben, have provided wood for temples and churches for millennia and are given as cultural gifts between towns, as well as many others, all within a mile radius of the town centre.

Opening times
Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Winter closing time 4.30pm (mid October-mid February). The Museum is closed between Christmas and New Year.
Exclusions and safety measures
The beehive observation hut is closed during the winter. No dogs are allowed in the Museum or grounds, except for assistance dogs.
