Join us for a hands-on Introduction to Fermentation session and discover the art of creating this delicious, probiotic-rich Korean staple. Learn about the benefits of fermentation for gut health, the science behind the process, and how to make your own kimchi using traditional methods. You'll get to chop, mix, and ferment your own batch to take home, along with the confidence to continue fermenting in your own kitchen. Perfect for beginners and food enthusiasts alike!
Please bring a clean 300 ml jar with a lid and an apron- be prepared to get your hands dirty!
This class is run by Farah Rizvi - let's find out a little bit her....
Farah Rizvi is a nutritionist, herbalist, and former chef and teacher with a passion for health and wellbeing. She brings a wealth of experience in holistic wellness, delivering engaging workshops on nutrition, nature-based wellbeing, and managing chronic health conditions. Her sessions aim to inspire positive behaviour change, combining practical knowledge with hands-on activities.
