Find out what toys have been spending their retirement years in our display cases in this evening talk.
Everyone remembers playing with toys when they were young. Perhaps you still have your favourite childhood teddy bear now!
Our museum service has been collecting objects like toys for over a hundred years, donated by people who have outgrown them. Recently our Curator Matt Platt has been thinking about the tale of the toy, when did they first emerge? What sorts of things did people play with in the far distant past? Are toys from back then similar to today?
Find out what toys have been spending their retirement years in our display cases in this evening talk.
